Michael J. Ross, M.D., will give a presentation on the science of cycling at Cadence Cycling & Multisport Center on Saturday, June 10 at 7:00 p.m. Dr. Ross is a USA Cycling Level 1 Elite Coach and team physician for the Georgia-based Jittery Joe's-Zero Gravity professional cycling team. He is also a nationally recognized endurance sports coach and race doctor for the U.S. Pro Cycling Tour.

Dr. Ross will talk to cyclists about how to tailor workouts to their own unique physiology and answer questions. He will also sign copies of his latest book, Maximum Performance for Cyclists, on sale at Cadence for $18.95.

Maximum Performance for Cyclists guides readers through the steps of individualizing workouts, making sound nutritional choices, and planning for recovery in order to achieve peak performance.

Dr. Ross has also written Maximum Performance: Sports Medicine for Endurance Athletes, a book that tackles the principles of exercise science, training and diet, as well as common medical problems and overuse injuries.
